Xino is a place deeply connected to its water. The village itself is supplied exclusively by the same spring that gives Xino Nero its natural, acidic character. The lives of its inhabitants and the history of this point on the map flow together with this unique source, which continues to provide the same pure, vibrant water to those who enjoy it.
Nestled among fertile hills and lush expanses, the village seems embraced by nature, as if protected and showcased at the same time.

Xino Nero is a village belonging to the Municipality of Amyntaio, in the heart of Western Macedonia. It is located at an altitude of approximately 647 meters and, according to the latest census, has just over 900 inhabitants.

The vessels and iron tips found near the modern settlement of Xino Nero indicate human presence in the area since ancient times. The village preserves elements of traditional architecture, with particular interest in the building of the Municipal School in the village square, built in 1910, which was used by Allied Forces during World War I as a hospital.
Its name is no coincidence; here flows one of Greece’s most famous natural mineral waters, Xino Nero. Refreshing, effervescent, and rich in history and reputation. The village’s springs, with their distinctive aroma and unique taste, are renowned not only for their therapeutic properties but also for the character they impart to the place.
