THE GIFT OF NATURE
X i n o N e r o
The myth says that Alexander the Great, while passing with his army through the land of Macedonia on his great campaigns to the East, paused briefly in this place and quenched his thirst from the same springs that still flow today.
Perhaps, the general passed along the paths of the region, leaving behind a myth that imbues the place with glory and grandeur.

The French general Louis Franchet d’Espèrey, according to local oral tradition, tasted the water during World War I, when the area was part of the Macedonian Front.
D’Espèrey reportedly described Xino Nero as equal, if not superior, to the renowned French mineral waters. It is said that he was so impressed by the taste and properties of the water that he recommended it as therapeutic and requested it to be transported to French military camps.
Whether fact or folklore, this story has remained alive as proof that Xino Nero, with its natural strength, managed to write its own small page in history.
Therapeutic Spring
The waters that spring from the village are bottled at the local automatic bottling factory. Xino Nero belongs to the category of therapeutic springs, with studies confirming its beneficial effects on the liver and kidneys, while it is also known to be diuretic and helps digestion.
The Poiro spring is not just a spring. Xino is not just water. It is a place identity. A tradition that continues uninterrupted, evolving with the same seriousness and respect as when it began.
And like every old secret, it has the ability to become more than itself. It becomes the symbol of our land.
Like a deep breath from the depths of the mountains of Western Macedonia, it springs forth quietly, yet with steady, devoted persistence. There, at the edges of Xino Nero, our water does not come merely to quench thirst. It comes to remind. It carries the old memory of the land, the secret geometry of the subsoil, the whisper of the first people, who bent down to drink and realized that this water is unlike any other.

With natural carbonation, without interventions, as nature has taught it for centuries. It is our little truth. And every bottle that leaves the village carries a piece of this pure, enduring magic. A piece from the depths of our world.

Full of natural carbonation, a water that awakens you, like the first light before dawn. And like every old secret, the Poiro spring has the ability to become more than matter. It becomes the symbol of our land.
In the heart of Western Macedonia, where the landscape melts and is reshaped by the seasons, this spring gives life to Xino Nero. It does not make it; it gives birth to it.
